This affordable independent senior living building is part of an overall master development with The Preserve at Shady Oaks project. This building has unique structure consisting of eight (8) total levels with a mix of precast and wood framed structure. One of the three levels of precast contain both parking and housing units. The poor soil conditions of the site required a foundation system consisting of pipe piles, pile caps, grade beams, structural slab, and a mix of cast in place and CMU walls.
